Producer: Domaine Thomas & Fils is a family-owned estate with a winemaking history in Sancerre dating back to 1670. Currently led by Jean and Ginette Thomas, along with their son Julien, the domaine cultivates 13 hectares of vines across some of Sancerre's finest terroirs. 'Le Pierrier', named after the stony soils of the vineyard, showcases the family's commitment to expressing the unique characteristics of Sancerre's varied soil types. The Thomas family practises sustainable viticulture and employs traditional winemaking techniques, including the use of indigenous yeasts, to create wines of remarkable purity and authenticity. This 2022 vintage exemplifies their ability to produce Sancerre that beautifully balances fruity exuberance with mineral precision.
