Producer: Few houses embody Champagne's elegance quite like Taittinger. Founded in 1734, this family-owned house has perfected their flagship Comtes de Champagne over generations. The wine is crafted exclusively from Chardonnay grown in the finest Grand Cru vineyards of the Côte des Blancs. After primary fermentation in stainless steel, 5% of the wines are aged in new oak barrels. The champagne then matures for 10 years in the historic 4th-century Roman chalk cellars beneath Saint-Nicaise in Reims.
