Producer: Domaine Grand Veneur, run by the Jaume family since 1826, is one of the most respected estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The domaine, now under the guidance of Sébastien Jaume, has been certified organic since 2012. 'Le Miocène', named after the geological era that shaped the region's terroir, is crafted from old vines grown on the estate's prime parcels. The Jaume family's meticulous approach in both vineyard and cellar, including hand-harvesting and careful grape selection, results in wines of remarkable depth and finesse. This 2021 vintage showcases Grand Veneur's ability to produce wines that beautifully express the unique character of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
