Producer: Quinta de la Rosa, owned by the Bergqvist family since 1906, is a boutique estate located in the heart of the Douro Valley. Originally known for their Port wines, they were pioneers in producing high-quality table wines in the Douro, starting in the 1990s. The estate's 55 hectares of vineyards are planted on steep, schist-rich slopes, providing ideal conditions for concentrated, characterful wines. This Reserva Tinto represents the best selection from their vineyards, crafted with meticulous care both in the vineyard and the cellar. The 2018 vintage showcases Quinta de la Rosa's commitment to producing wines that beautifully express the unique terroir of the Douro, combining power with elegance and finesse.
