Owned by the Cuvelier family since 1920, Moulin Riche was originally a separate estate but has been fully integrated into Léoville Poyferré's operations. The wine benefits from the same meticulous viticulture and winemaking practices as its grand vin sibling, including sustainable farming methods and careful grape selection. Moulin Riche is crafted to be more approachable in its youth while still showcasing the elegance and complexity typical of Saint-Julien. The 2017 vintage, despite challenging weather conditions, demonstrates the estate's ability to produce wines of remarkable finesse and balance even in difficult years.
