Vacherin Mont d'Or AOP
Origin: Haut-Doubs, France
A seasonal treasure from the French-Swiss border, this soft-ripened cow's milk cheese is traditionally made between August and March. Each cheese is wrapped in spruce bark and presented in a wooden box, developing a rich, creamy texture that becomes deliciously spoonable when ripe.
Made with raw milk from Montbéliarde cows grazing above 800 metres in the Jura Mountains. The spruce bark imparts subtle woodsy notes to the cheese, whilst careful ageing develops complex flavours of roasted nuts and cream.
Best served at room temperature.
For baking: Try cutting a cross in the top, adding a splash of Vermouth or white wine a sprig of thryme and a clove of garlic cut lengthways in half, and bake until molten at 180°c. Enjoy with crusty bread, boiled potatoes, and charcuterie.

All items leave our facility in perfect condition with a good use-by date. Please consider this when selecting your delivery date. Once dispatched, the package is under the responsibility of our couriers, making it difficult to change the delivery address or expedite delays.
We do offer Saturday delivery, but please note that our couriers do not operate phone support at weekends, and our customer service is closed. For time-sensitive deliveries, we recommend choosing a weekday to allow us to address any issues promptly.
