Caught in icy, pure waters 900m down, Denia Red Prawns live in total darkness. Free from pollution, they thrive in perfect surroundings.
From Dénia to Ibiza, they're fished and sorted into four sizes. Category 1 is the largest and most expensive. Carefully selected for size in Dénia's fish market, Prawns are sold whole and intact.
Size variation happens between genders, with the biggest being female and the smallest male. Oddly, this exclusive product once had humble beginnings in gastronomy, with fishermen and consumers disregarding it and often releasing it back to sea or using it in fish broth.
Lightly grilled or baked in salt - or on salted egg white and only 'just cooked' are the preferred methods for this delicate and hugely sought-after prawn.

All items leave our facility in perfect condition with a good use-by date. Please consider this when selecting your delivery date. Once dispatched, the package is under the responsibility of our couriers, making it difficult to change the delivery address or expedite delays.
We do offer Saturday delivery, but please note that our couriers do not operate phone support at weekends, and our customer service is closed. For time-sensitive deliveries, we recommend choosing a weekday to allow us to address any issues promptly.
