Black Cod was made world-famous by Chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa (Nobu) with his delicious Black Cod and miso recipe. Its exceptional nutty flavour, high omega-3 content, and identifiable dark hue make this fish a true gastronomic icon.
Black cod, also known as Sablefish, live in freezing waters and have a much higher fat content than cod. Therefore, it is much richer and harder to overcook.
Line-caught in the translucent icy waters of the Gulf of Alaska, our Black Cod is meticulously selected from sustainable fisheries committed to preserving the ocean's bounty. Our producers adhere to the highest standards of quality and sustainability and are MSC-certified, ensuring that each fillet is not only delicious but also ethically sourced.
Versatile and easy to prepare, Black Cod pairs beautifully with intense flavours like miso, citrus and fresh chilli, making it ideal for grilling or roasting.

All items leave our facility in perfect condition with a good use-by date. Please consider this when selecting your delivery date. Once dispatched, the package is under the responsibility of our couriers, making it difficult to change the delivery address or expedite delays.
