SMOKED ALSACE PANCETTA
If you use lardons or love carbonara, then this IS the product for you! A fridge staple for a no-fuss dinner solution. Chop and add to sauces and stews and benefit from the delicious smokey flavour and firm texture that gives your dish a bite!
For best results, slice and remove the skin then dice into small lardon-shaped pieces. Fry with chopped roscoff onions (the onion version of a shallot) and garlic for base sauces. Add whole baby vine tomatoes, and a touch of water, and slowly cook down to an unctuous sauce - fresh herbs to finish, fresh chili if you wish. You can also go the white/wine cream route or classic egg yolk through the pasta at the end.
This amazing product is a better option for carbonara if you find Italian guanciale too fatty.
SMOKED ALSACE PANCETTA is made with premium pork belly from free-range pigs fed on a diet of wild herbs and grass. Cured in spices, salt, and sugar, then smoked over oak wood for 2 days offering a sublime finished product.
For a guide, when making pasta sauce 70g per person is ample. Works well with our amazing dried pasta range, Pappardelle in particular. Also is the base ingredient in the classic Tarte Flambe.
Typically 1 month shelf life when stored in the refrigerator.

All items leave our facility in perfect condition with a good use-by date. Please consider this when selecting your delivery date. Once dispatched, the package is under the responsibility of our couriers, making it difficult to change the delivery address or expedite delays.
We do offer Saturday delivery, but please note that our couriers do not operate phone support at weekends, and our customer service is closed. For time-sensitive deliveries, we recommend choosing a weekday to allow us to address any issues promptly.
