JAPANESE KOSHIHIKARI PREMIUM UMAMI RICE 5kg
Yamazaki Koshihikari - Premium Japanese Rice
Origin: Toyama Prefecture, Japan
Widely regarded as Japan's finest short-grain rice variety, this premium Koshihikari is cultivated in the mineral-rich soils of Toyama Prefecture, where pure mountain waters and traditional farming methods produce exceptionally flavourful grains.
Each pearly grain delivers the perfect balance of natural sweetness and umami, with a glossy finish and sublime sticky texture that's essential for authentic Japanese cuisine. Its exceptional moisture retention and consistency make it the preferred choice of sushi masters.
Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. Combine each 100g rice with 120ml cold water, bring to boil, reduce heat, and simmer covered for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes before fluffing. (For perfect results use a rice steamer)
Producer: Agri Yamazaki has cultivated premium rice in Toyama Prefecture for three generations, maintaining traditional farming practices whilst incorporating modern sustainability methods. Their Koshihikari rice holds the top-grade certification from the Japanese Agricultural Cooperative.
