Origin: Grown in Loire Valley, France
These heritage Chantecler apples, developed in France in the 1940s and still cultivated in their native Loire Valley, offer an exceptional balance of sweetness and acidity with subtle notes of honey and citrus. Their firm, crisp flesh and golden-russet skin make them a prized choice for both cooking and fresh eating.
A low-acid apple variety that holds its shape brilliantly when cooked, whilst developing a rich, complex flavour. The flesh resists browning, making it perfect for salads and cheese boards.
Slice thinly and layer in traditional French tarts, or pair with aged Comté and crusty baguette for an authentic French snack. Excellent in compotes or simply enjoyed fresh.
Producer: Grown by the Dubois family in the heart of the Loire Valley, who have cultivated heritage apple varieties for three generations using traditional methods that respect the terroir.

All items leave our facility in perfect condition with a good use-by date. Please consider this when selecting your delivery date. Once dispatched, the package is under the responsibility of our couriers, making it difficult to change the delivery address or expedite delays.
